### 1. *Introduction*
Larnil Art Exchange is a community-based platform designed to facilitate the exchange of handmade, artistic, and decorative objects between members. This document outlines the terms under which members may participate in the program.
By using the Larnil Art Exchange system, you agree to the following Terms of Use. All participants must read and accept these terms before submitting any item or engaging in an exchange.

### 2. *Purpose and Role of Larnil Art*
Larnil Art does not buy or sell any products within the Exchange Program. It simply acts as a neutral coordinator, helping members to:
– Submit their items for exchange
– Review other members’ listings
– Arrange safe and fair exchanges
– Coordinate communication and deposit handling
Larnil Art does not take commission or profit from the exchange process. All exchanges are based on mutual agreement and product-for-product trade — *no items are exchanged for money*.
In addition to the Exchange, Larnil Art operates a separate *Shop section* where items are sold directly by Larnil Art or selected partners. The Shop and the Exchange are completely separate in terms of rules, purpose, and operation.

### 3. *Eligibility and Membership*
To participate:
– You must be at least 18 years old.
– You must agree to follow these Terms.
– You must provide honest and complete information during item submission.
– You must explicitly confirm your acceptance of this agreement before submitting any product or deposit.

### 4. *How the Exchange Works*
1. Members submit their item with photos, a video, a description, and a chosen security deposit amount.
2. Larnil Art reviews and publishes approved items in the Exchange Catalogue.
3. Interested members send their own item offers.
4. If both sides agree, Larnil Art facilitates the exchange and requests deposits.
5. Members pay the deposit via Stripe.
6. Both parties ship their items.
7. Once both confirm safe delivery and accurate item condition, deposits are refunded.

### 5. *Security Deposit*
– The deposit amount is set by the member offering the item.
– Deposits are held securely via Stripe.
– Deposits are fully refunded after successful exchange.
– Larnil Art does *not* take any commission from the deposit.
– Stripe may apply a small processing fee.

### 6. *Shipping and Delivery*
– Each member is responsible for the cost and safe packaging of their shipment.
– Using insured and trackable shipping is highly recommended.
– Larnil Art is not responsible for damage, loss, or delay during shipping.

### 7. *Disputes and Resolution*
– If an item arrives damaged or is not as described, the receiving member must notify Larnil Art within 48 hours.
– Evidence (photos or video) is required.
– Larnil Art will act as a neutral party to help resolve the issue.

### 8. *Prohibited Items*
The following items are not allowed:
– Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
– Weapons, drugs, alcohol, or medicine
– Food, perishable goods, or live animals
– Offensive or hateful content
– Fragile or dangerous items unsuitable for shipping
Larnil Art reserves the right to reject any item that violates these rules.
### 8.1 *Accepted Items for Exchange*
Members may submit items that meet the following criteria:
– Handmade or artisan-crafted objects
– Jewelry items (rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, sets)
– Decorative art pieces
– Small crafts and collectible items
– Sculptural miniatures or handcrafted home decor
– Artist-designed accessories (e.g. bags, fabric art, beadwork)
– Items that express cultural identity, storytelling, or sustainability
Each item must be in *good condition*, suitable for safe packaging and shipment.
Items should carry *artistic value, craftsmanship, or personal meaning* — factory-made or mass-produced commercial goods are discouraged unless they are customized or repurposed in a creative way.

### 9. *Data Privacy*
Larnil Art only collects essential information to coordinate the exchange. This includes:
– Email and contact details
– Item descriptions and photos
– Payment via Stripe (Larnil Art does *not* see your card information)
We do not sell or share personal data. We comply with GDPR standards.

### 10. *Termination and Violations*
Larnil Art reserves the right to terminate a member’s access if:
– They breach these terms
– They submit false or harmful items
– They abuse the system or other members

### 11. *Legal Notice*
Larnil Art Exchange is not a commercial marketplace. No items are bought or sold for money on this platform. All exchanges are made through mutual product-for-product agreement between members. Larnil Art acts as a facilitator only, not as a seller, buyer, or financial intermediary. The deposit system is for safety purposes only and does not constitute a payment for goods or services.
Larnil Art also includes a separate commercial Shop, where items may be sold and purchased. The Shop operates under standard e-commerce rules, independent from the community-based Exchange.
### 11.1 *Additional Legal and Safety Considerations*
– Members must only offer items they legally own and have the right to exchange. Items that infringe copyright or intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.
– Larnil Art reserves the right to verify or reject any submission that appears misleading, counterfeit, or fraudulent.
– Members are responsible for checking whether their items can be legally shipped abroad. Some artworks or cultural objects may be subject to export restrictions in their country.
– Each participant must ensure that their item is safe to ship and packaged securely. Fragile, hazardous, or perishable goods are not allowed.
– Larnil Art is not liable for any losses, damages, or legal consequences arising from a member’s misuse of the platform.
– Larnil Art reserves the right to decline or remove any membership or exchange listing without prior notice if any rule is violated.
